I have long felt that Pleasing is exactly as you describe it. A means to drain the income of loyal fans. It’s really quite despicable and the products, don’t get me started.

I agree entirely that Harry is ill equipped to handle the Azoff’s or business in general. Simply by being present, he is not going to understand the fundamentals under pinning decent business models.

He has either been drawn into this Faustian pact due to his naivety or he is quite happy to prostitute himself on the altar of greed. Neither speaks well of his character or intellect.

I don’t know if he should be pitied or scolded. However, the last line of your teaser for your next article leads me to believe pity would be wasted.

Thank you, Rossella, for two more fascinating and insightful articles, I look forward eagerly to the next.

As an aside-doing a series of articles comparing the different trajectories of Harry Styles and Zayn Malik would be revealing. Zayn seems to have done everything the opposite of Harry and he has always remained relevant. I would definitely read them!

It’s interesting you brought up Zayn. I feel Harry borrowed/stole so much from Zayn from the beginning. From ideas to opinions to style Zayn always had it and Harry copied it. Even into their first solo albums. It’s quite crazy when you see it.

Believe me, I see it. I also have long been aware that every time Zayn is demonised in the media, Harry remains silent.

So many times when he could have spoken, Harry has seemed to sit on the sidelines watching. Waiting for what, I wonder?

Harry has the knowledge and the clout to have cleared up so many misunderstandings, fallacies and rumours regarding Zayn. Yet he never speaks. I find that most curious. It’s almost as if he knows that by being silent, any and all damage and blame will erode Zayn’s credibility and reduce his relevance. Bolstering his own. Is Zayn such a threat to him or does Harry harbour some strange obsession with Zayn that propels him in his pursuit of Zayn’s talent in all areas. Or is it something more personal-it absolutely baffles me.

What I do see is that Harry’s appropriation of Zayn’s intellectual property has continued well past their first albums. Curiouser and curiouser, as Alice would say…

Oh My God!! That’s all I can say about this article 😱
